    Direi piuttosto ridicolo appena 2 candidati come miglior canzone…già l’anno scorso Randy Newman era scontatissimo, quest’anno è ancora peggio..Possibile che non ci siano state solo 2 canzoni decenti?

    L’assenza di film come Le Havre, Faust, Melancholia, Shame, Drive (solo 1 nomination come montaggio sonoro) conferma la tendenza spiccata degli Academy a premiare i film ufficialmente più innocui (o falsamente “impegnati” e comunque politically correct) o più polpettoni. Tifo per The Artist che meriterebbe soltanto per la sua genuinità. E per Farhadi che se lo merita tutto l’Oscar straniero (sarebbe una cosa storica se l’America premiasse l’Iran). Tree Of Life ha già avuto gloria a Cannes, ed è un film troppo “oltre” per i vecchietti conservatori hollywoodiani. Non nominare Fassbender come miglior attore (film troppo “sporco” stavolta) è come sarebbe stato non nominare, a suo tempo, Robert DeNiro per Taxi Driver: un delitto. Non conosco gli altri nominati, ma quel Hugo mi ispira poco, ma proprio poco…spero di sbagliarmi.

    Sono d’accordo con te, ma oltre all'”innocenza” voluta da Hollywood ci sono anche dati più pragmatici. Per dare un esempio su tutti: l’ultimo film di Sorrentino, non ha potuto partecipare agli Oscar come miglior film straniero solo perchè non ancora uscito nelle sale americana. Certo, il “facciamo felici tutti” vige sempre in questi casi (Moneyball ne è un esempio, come la candidatura di Brad Pitt a miglior attore), ma non so se Faust è già uscito negli Usa.

    Quest’anno l’Academy va sul sobrio (onestamente non è che la colonna sonora di TinTin mi abbia colpita, boh). Come al solito alcuni film non sono neanche usciti da noi. Difficile commentare.
